Welcome to my website!

My name is Anita Brady and by a way of a quick introduction, I am a UK born, Irish citizen.

I have been an educator since 1994 working in the UK (in London and Portsmouth), the US (Ithaca, New York; Oakland, California; Milpitas, California) and - between July 2009 and July 2021 - at Mont’Kiara International School in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where I held various positions (Learning Support Teacher, a Grade Three Teacher/Team Leader, Student Support Services Coordinator and Head of Admissions).

I am now at the International School of Paris (ISP). In the 2022-2023 school year, I served as the Primary School Vice Principal Student Wellbeing and Designated Safeguarding Lead (sabbatical cover) during which time I led the Primary School wellbeing team and worked closely with MS/HS counterparts and members of the ISP Primary Leadership Team and ISP Educational Leadership Team. For the 2023-2024 school year, I am back to my roots supporting Kindergarten to Grade Three students in our Learning Support Programme.

I have a wide range of experiences garnered from working in classrooms and as a leader and - as a reflective practitioner and lifelong learner [please see my Professional Development Record] - I continue to challenge myself professionally by participating in committee work, engaging in formal and informal discussions with colleagues locally and globally, joining The Mastermind (at Better Leaders Better Schools), attending pertinent webinars as well as taking on-line courses.

I have sought and continue to seek to expand my knowledge and skill set personally and professionally generally and with specific regard to issues pertaining to DEIJ/B, EAL, Learning Differences.
Please feel free to review my resume/CV for an overview of my experiences,  responsibilities, accomplishments and achievements as an educator.

This site also includes my blog where I regularly share my thoughts on areas of particular interest including, but not limited to Admissions, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI), English as an Additional Language (EAL), Leadership, Learning Differently, School Culture, Social Justice, Third Culture Kids (TCKs) and Wellbeing.

Outside of work, I am fascinated with languages and cultures from our diverse world. I am a keen observer of the intersection between the two through discussions, travel, film, and reading. During vacations, I enjoy travelling and taking photos and have had the honour of visiting many amazing places around the world. The list of places to visit continues to grow!

Should you wish to contact me, please do so via email or here.

I look forward to hearing from you!
