Data Wise
I have just completed the on-line Introduction to Data Wise: A Collaborative Process to Improve Learning & Teaching course. Data Wise is systematic approach with clearly defined protocols which are easy to implement. By being mindful of the ladder of inference and using "I notice ... " and "I wonder ..." comments help to ensure the focus on the data, rather than leaping to interpretations. "Data Wise is not a program to implement, but a way of doing business that organizes the core work of schools around teaching and learning" is a fantastic way to summarize the process.
