"Peace is an Action"

Rami Adham, also known as the toy smuggler of Aleppo, is a Finnish-Syrian father. This short video describes how he brings joy (as well as necessities) to children in Syria.

At last year's EARCOS Leadership Conference, Loung Ung (author of First They Killed My Father: A Daughter of Cambodia Remembers) stated that "Peace is an action." The line resonated with me then and I can't help but think of it when reading about Rami.

This is such a beautiful act of peace ... ... yet, I so wish this wasn't an act that needed to be done.
