Analysis diagram

I love this simple, yet effective, diagram which I believe comes from the Creating an Effective School PTC course.

I have found it most useful when planning ahead (as a checklist to ensure important elements are included) and, as reflective practitioner, when analyzing progress and/or implementation of a new practice. It is applicable to short-term projects as well as to team wide or school wide initiatives over a longer period of time. I appreciate the direct correlation between the missing element and the effect thereof. Thus, once one is aware of the missing element, the next step(s) for the individual/team can be determined more easily.
