Mindful that educators do not simply teach, but rather ask provocations, share knowledge, elicit responses, develop deeper thinking, encourage transdisciplinary understanding, empower students to take action, and impact students in oh so many more way; the quote below from Leo Buscaglia reminds me that the social-emotional connection is, without a doubt, the most important and impactful element of a community of learners and within which meaningful learning is co-constructed each and every day.
