Without a doubt the 2020 - 2021 school year has been one in which a high degree of VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity) has existed.

As the school year comes (at least in the Northern Hemisphere) to a close and as preparation (albeit with a variety of options including, but not limited to, in person school, on-line learning, or hybrid) for the next are being finalized, I can not but help be reminded of the importance of holistic education and one where educators Maslow before Bloom. With this in mind, I wish to share this quote from the inspirational Rita D. Pierson:
