As 2021 draws to an end and 2022 beckons, it is inevitable to both reflect upon this past year and to look forward.


As was the case in December 2020, we look back at another most unusual year and with fingers crossed for a return to an increased sense of normality.


In reflecting on the magical qualities of this past year, I am most appreciative of the sentiments (obviously if in the southern hemisphere the notion of a warm blanket and hot cocoa may - even if evocative - be less relevant) expressed by Mandy Hale:



 

With regard to looking forward, I very much appreciate Tim Ferris’ common sense approach as shared in his recent podcast, Forget New Year's Resolutions and Conduct a 'Past Year Review' Instead:

 

As 2021 comes to a close, I draw on the words of D. M. Dellinger and wish you and yours all the best for 2022!
