Reflection: One Year of Blogging
Just over a year ago, I committed to blogging on a regular basis.
I very much appreciate having the time and space to explore and reflect on various topics, including, but not limited to, admissions, Third Culture Kids (TCK), identity, learning differences, social justice and wellbeing. I am increasingly aware that culture/identity and wellbeing are areas to which I am constantly drawn.
I am especially proud of the following posts:
I am aware that sometimes I am inspired to write and other times it is more of a struggle to find a topic and/or write a well rounded post. Amelia Earhart’s quote, “The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity” thus rings true. Mindful of my perfectionist tendencies, the phrase, “Remember: progress, not perfection” in Camilla Styles’ How to Cultivate a Growth Mindset & Be More Optimistic, is good for me to keep uppermost in mind as I explore - through hours of reading, research and reflection - these topics of interest and also extend to other topics as and when pertinent.
Looking ahead, I intend to continue blogging and appreciate the feedback and support from friends and colleagues.
